1978 featured Steve Hillage , Here and Now and Sphynx amongst other lesser known acts . We are looking for reports and photos of the other festivals.

The
left handed guitarist on the left of the stage is me! I was playing with Gazer
and I remember the sun coming out as we went on stage and doing an interview
with Radio Bristol afterwards. I also played at the very first Ashton Court
with a band called The Ron Johnson Combo.
Scratch
The first festival was held in 1974 and activities resumed again in 1978 and 1979 . The festival was shelved for several years after arrests in 1980 and resumed again as a one day event in 1983 . The festival has continued to date although it is no longer free and was reported to be in financial difficulties in 2006 .
