The Festival village
The
Festival Village has always been situated near the trees, but this
year it was radically reorganised . This resulted in far more shade
for those in the village , a factor which I am sure they appreciated
greatly as the heat was furnace like for much of the weekend . It
also greatly benefitted the audience . The organisers are to be congratulated
for their placement of both stages and stalls this year, it was pretty
damn near perfect.
One
reason for the revamp of the village area was that it was so much
bigger this year, it now has spread to the other side of stage two
and introduced some new eating areas and many new stalls , some of
which were art objects in their own right .
