Workshop Saturday 10th March 2:00 pm.
Masters of the Santoor, the Indian version of the hammer dulcimer, Shivkumar and his son Rahul Sharma were just the act to finish the Friday night revelry. They treated us to a 90 minute improvisation what was otherworldly , masterful and inspiring, and which flowed like a mighty river across the park unitl it eventually reached its conclusion .
Fortunately 50 minutes of this was broadcast on Radio National later on in the year . We were too knocked out on Friday to attempt to take photos, but we had recovered sufficiently on Saturday to do the deed. Another highlight of the festival .
