This is an artwork that I painted during the following winter from the photos I took of the 74 Windsor festival. It is a montage of people and situations with the central figure of Jon from Global Village Trucking Co and around him are friends Simon and Del from Fox Lites dealing with recalcitrant van and generator, Hawkwind, nice old Sid Rawle who worked along with Ubi to make the fest come together, Paul from Harp (Havering Arts Resource Project) police helicopter and those amazing low flying Jumbos and me poking out behind the rizla packet. This artwork is something else that hasn't seen the light of day for 25 years as it was done just to practice various paint techniques, I doubt I could do it as well today
