Australian Tour 97.

Welcome, these pages are intended to document that rarest of happenings , an AUSTRALASIAN TOUR by singer songwriter Richard Thompson. To date this has been the only national tour by the beret clad guitar genius, apart from a short visit in the middle 80s. It is nice to see that he will be returning in 2001 for another tour and this site has attempted to document the visit as fully as possible. ( see link below)

Below you will find the reviews and setlists of the tour dates in Australia , New Zealand and Japan for which I have managed to find any information, such as newspaper reviews , radio interviews, broadcasts, adverts and eyewitness accounts.
This list is incomplete, I would welcome input from anyone who can fill in the gaps, especially for the Perth show. Contact email
