The Seventh National Jazz and Blues Festival.

11th , 12th & 13th August 1967.
Royal Windsor Racecourse.

Fleetwood Mac.
The debut of the band, this must have been a bit daunting for the members, as this was in front of 10,000 or more punters who would be highly critical of the group , comparing their work to that of Peter Green when he was with John Mayall.

However, apparently the band went down really well, the only dissenter being future bass player John McVie, who is said to have found them boring.

The band performed twice, once on the main stage in the early evening and again in the tent to a smaller audience.

" I can confirm that Fleetwood Mac did indeed play a set in the tent.
I remember Shake Your Money Maker well! "
Paul Watson
