The Moody Blues6th August 1965.
R0ay Thomas (vocals), Mike Pinder (keyboards/vocals), Denny Laine
(guitar/vocals), Clint Warwick (bass/vocals) and Graeme Edge (drums),xomprised
the Moody Blues circa 1965. We have to admit that we had a pretty biased view
of this band based on later music, but this showing at Richmond is a different
kettle of prawns , it indicates a powerful R& B band with none of the bland
pseudo hippie leanings of the later period.
The stills below were taken from
an archival film that exists of the 1965 show, recorded for the US TV show Shindig
but it is not known just how much footage of the set exists.
